 Drunken Maidens

Drunken Maidens Concert

April 26th  -  4:30 p.m.

The Drunken Maidens, inspired by groups such as Sweet Honey in the Rock and the Wailin’ Jennys, sing in tight vocal harmonies and play instruments such as fiddle, mandolin, guitar, dulcimer, whistle, and percussion. Threads from traditional ballads, shanties, old-time and bluegrass, folk dance tunes and even early music are woven together to produce their colorful and varied repertoire. Their blend of British and American, old and new material includes the wistful strains of old-time music, saucy English folksongs, ancient melodies, catchy tunes, and recently written songs.
This concert is part of the PAMS concert series.
