Home Sweet Homeless

Harper, age 9, selected homelessness because she sees homeless people living in our city and it makes her sad. She worries that they are cold and hungry and wishes there were better ways to help them.

Harper selected the visual elements of our quilt square, chose the colors, and cut most of the components using a craft cutting machine. Polly helped with the hand embroidery and design, which includes applique fabric, heat transfer vinyl, and snaps.
